some questions regarding SAP XI functionality (context)

Can someone help by answering the following questions regarding the SAP-functionality.

There are Yes/No questions, but it would be great to get a simple explanation for the answers.

2. Does the solution have Active Directory integration for accessing employee hierarchy? (Yes/No)

Hi Axel,

You might try accessing the database into which the AD stores all the orgainsation details with the help of the JDBC adapter-although I am not sure if it will work.

The LDAP protocol which AD uses is actually based on the TCP/IP protocol. Also, I have heard of the SAP-LDAP Connector...although I dont have much info on the same.

Hi Axel,

as far as I know AD has no WebService interface (WDSL).

The protocoll is LDAP.

So you have to look if an LDAP adapter is existing for SAP XI.
