Batch determination Not happening

I am trying to do a STO and cretaed a PO and Delivery for a Batch managed material. But batch determination is not automatically happening for this material. Can someone tell me what might be the issue in this.

While I mannually click on the Batch Determination icon, I am getting a messsage "No search strategy could be found".

If I click on the strategy analysis icon, I could see some details like "Condition Record is missing" , "Access for access sequence SD04 is missing". Please tell me what all might be checked to make automatic batch determination happen.

In shipment am getting error "Items w/o batch assignment cannot be packed"

Am not much exposed to Batch determination procedures, please let me know step by step.

Hi,

Maintain condition record for SD Batch Search Strategy in VCH1 with Selection Condition "O".

Also do following config.

SPRO > Logistics - General > Batch Management > Batch Determination and Batch Check > Batch Search Procedure Allocation and Check Activation > Allocate SD Search Procedure/Activate Check - Here maintain entry for Sales AreaSales Doc Type "DL"Batch Search Procedure

SPRO > Logistics - General > Batch Management > Batch Determination and Batch Check > Activate Automatic Batch Determination in SD > Activate Automatic Batch Determination for Delivery Item Categories - Here Activate Automatic Batch Determination for Delivery Item Category "NLC" (For IC STO) and NLN" (For STO)

It seems access sequence is missing you case to determine batch search stratagy in delivery.Chcek in VCH3 is the material maintained.If not maintain then maintain VCH1 transaction for SD04 access sequence.

Hi Sridhar,

I checked in VCH3 for strategy type SD04, but am getting an error "There are no access for condition type SD04". Due to the same error, am not able to create strategy type in VCH1 also.

What might be the way to solve this error. Is there anything needs to be checked from Material side or from condition record wise.
