Dear Guru

Balancing field "profit center" in line item 001 not filled

This error is occur when the invoice released for accounting document by FF01 t-code. ( I was doing entry Vendor A/c dr to another Vendor a/c)

Hi,

whats the T.code by which you are Posting the Transcation ? is it FF01 or FB01??

Check the Field Status of the Posting Keys your entring while Posting the Transcation. the Profit center field would be a required Field. Please check and also Document Splitting Configuration .

Hi,

Please check in SPRO -> Financial Accounting (New) -> GL Acctng. (New) -> Business Trans. -> Doc. splitting

& also refer this link & check in SDN forums

Hi Nikhil,

make sure you enter profit centre for the line items.

Search SDN forum with "Balancing field "profit center" in line item 001 not filled". You can get solution for sure.
