Our requirement for planning of Expenses i.e.News paper advertisement/ Television Advertising . But GL posting all the related advertisment Exp. & cost Center only one for Marketing .
Please suggest how we can planning to expenses & get report for NewspaperAdvertisement is plan 1000 & actual what post / Television Advertisement 2000 & actual what.

we have one GL Advertisement Exp. & cost element is same. We posting the expenses through cost center Marketing as we created. that means we plan cost center for Marketing. but our requirement is Expenses as many type posting New Paper Advertising , TV Advertising . And separate we planning for TV Advertising for the month is 10000 & News paper Advertising is 9000 & check report for the period what is planning & what amount posting(actual expense out).

In BPC nothing stops you to create new Account Dimension members as per your requirement.
Step 1: Create new Acoount Dimension Members for like NEWSPAPER_ADVERTISING and TV_ADVERTISING, you can plan the amounts as required.
Issue with comparing PLAN vs ACTUAL, where you have only one GL Account/Cost Element. (eg: MARKETING/ADVERSEMENT EXP)
Step 2:
You can create Dimension Formula for MARKETING/ADVERISINGEXP = NEWSPAPER_ADVERTISING + TV_ADVERTISNG=19000
Now you can compare PLAN vs ACTUAL of MARKETING EXPENSES/ADVERTISING EXP
