Is SLD mandatory to maintain Jco-RFC destination in CE 7.1

Hi,

I am working on CE 7.1 SP05.

I have created a Jco-RFC destination but I could not start it.

It is giving me below exception:

Could not start JCo Destinations. Reason : Exception thrown in operation startDestination

Could you please suggest me what could be the reason and suggest me if SLD is mandatory for this.

Hi Patana

Yes, SLD is mandatory for the JCO destination creation. You need to configure SLD and update the SLD data supplier. then update the host file and service file in your system. then you able to create the JCO destination properly.
