COnver rtf to plain text

In the database which the report is referring contains one field where data is stored in RTF format. Is it possible to display that rtf text as plain text in report?

In database text is in this way,

{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1033{\fonttbl{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 HelveticaNeueLT Com 45 Lt;}}

\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs20 First Contact : 09.05.11 (SSM)\par

}

I need to display it as plain text,

First Contact : 09.05.11 (SSM)

place field on report

Right click - Format field - Paragraph tab - Text Interpretation - select RTF from drop down.

Thank you so much.. RTF text is getting displayed as plain text.
