Hide one field in IT 0105

Hi Experts,

I have one requirement mentioned below:-

In IT0105 my customer needs an additional subtype, which I have created. Now, for this subtype, while creating the IT0105 record, they need the field ID/number field to be hidden.

How can I achieve this?

Solution what I thought was to create one screen modification feature P0105 and hide the field using the 'Screen modifications' table T588M.

Now the problem is, for using this solution I need one alternate screen in the SAP standard module pool MP010500, which is not possible.

Please let me know any better or approachabl;e solution using which I can ful fil this requirement.

hi

one crude soln would be to put a default id number via dynamic action and let them put the required value in the other fld.

Hi,

your Approach works perfectly, Pls do the following its small value addition to your approach

Select the module pool and click the copy button, save it with new Alternate screen number, say suppose alternate screen number =99,

Then Hide the field which you want to hide in this copied MP010500/99

Now assign this screen for the particular subtype in the feature P0105.
