Hi

we have daily service level report in Prodcution planning(APO)

ISSUE HERE IS:

For a particular sale date: for ex: 15.03.2010 the Materail 2500 has been converted to Mat 2501(varient) for a particular Depot100 (plant 120).

but ). user have checked the Material determination on the ECC side and the material 2500 does not have a variant maintained for plant 120. Effectively, the conversion for this Mat2500 should have been 2500, as the variant is not maintained for this depot.

But the report shows that the SKU got converted to 2501

Master data integrity and compliance between ECC and APO is a complex issue.

The normal design (also supported by SAP CIF integration to APO) is to have ECC as the master system, and APO as the slave. The meaning of that is that materails should only be created and maintained in ECC. CIF will then update APO.

In your case it looks like you are not working like this, since 2501 exists in location 120 in APO, but not in ECC!
