Hi friends,

I have a distribution center, i will get stocks from different plants Ex 10 plants. different cost for same material and batch also different. and each plant add different freight also. That means We have stock of one material have different batches different costs in one plant.

Scenarios

1.from distribution center we do sales

2.We will do STO's from Distribution center to another Dist.center (here freight and storage charges added)

company wants to capture the cost of material batch wise.

How can we manage same material different batches in same plant have different cost

Can we achieve this through batch management or Split valuation or any other solution

Thanks

How batch is related to this valuation category??

Do we have any report showing stock overview based on the batch characteristics.

Hi,

As per your requirement, it seems each bach has separate valuationso you can use Split valuation with valuation categor "X" i.e. Batch Valuation. Also your material should be batch managed.

As a result of this, when you do GR for this material then system generates a batch which automatically becomes a valuation type and you get separate valuation for each batch of material.

Config: - If Valuation Category "X" is not active for your plant then activate the same for your Plant in OMWC.

Thanks Pankaj.

what is the config settings required for this.

Do i need to create a new val type and assign this to val category X ??

do i need to assign this in to batch??

can we use same batch for different materials.??

Thanks
