Hi,
At a customer site we are experiencing a slow (1m35sec) on the first log-in every day. After the first log-in the log-in time is dramatically reduced to 15-25sec.
Does anyone know if there's a setting somewhere in the system that may cause this behaviour?
We're running NW 7.5 SP07
Regards,
Lars
Hi Lars,
SAP Note [1541181|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1541181] says that on the first logon all template files are loaded, but not on subsequent logons. Do you have a lot of (or large) files in your wizard folder?
Cheers,
Ethan

Hi,
No, we used the standard templates. I have read the note and can see many hierarchies can cause slow log-in, but then it should be every time I log-in.
The funne thing is: It's the first log-in every morning. Afterwards the log-in time is OK.

That is really weird. If you just let the computer sit around for a while and then try to log in for the first time, is it faster? The master data download process is now multi-threaded, so if the computer is still busy with startup tasks it could go a lot slower.
Other than that, I'm running out of ideas.
