Issue: No Time Evaluation; Hourly rate considered as salary in Payroll

We have a employee group which is a combination of Salaried and Hourly people. We have set the ESG PCR to 3 (salaried).

(We do not want to set it as 1-hourly because that creates another issue for us because of some cutomizations at our end..)

For salaried person when the time evaluation is not run then payroll schema does not calculate any salary for that period. But for the hourly persion when the time evaluation is not run then we see salary being calculated for that period in payroll.

Hourly employee:

IT 0007 - Time management status= 0 No time evaluation

Hourly rate - 10

Payroll we are getting salary = 10 (which is actually hourly rate but is considered as salary)

No entries in ZL since the time evaluation is not run.

This issue gets resolved if ESG PCR = 1. But we do not want to do that as mentioned above. If the person is salaried then if no time evalaution is run, no wage types are created in RT which is the correct/expected results. Not sure why the behavior is different for Hourly people.

Salaried or Hourly - If the time evaluation is not run then there should not be any salary calculation (no basic pay wage types should be in RT).

Any suggestions for hourly rate not be considered as salary in this specific situation.
