Limitation in the Number of values in the LOV

Hi all,

We have recently migrated reports from XI R2 to XI R3.1. Am facing issue in the LOV of the prompt in a WEBI Report. When i refreh the prompt LOV in R3, it doesnt show the complete lists, in the bottom it says partial results whereas it returns complete list in R2.Is there any limitation in the max number of lists to be displayed in Prompts LOV in R3 ? Any help is appriciated.

1. Login to CMC.

2. Navigate to Server section.

3. In the properties of WebI Processing Server, increase the value of Maximum List Of Values Size as required.

4. Refreash the LOV in the prompt screen.

BusinessObjects restricts the number of objects that can be picked from a list of values to '99'.

It is possible to increase this limit by adding a MAX_INLIST_VALUES value to your database prm file.

This parameter is not in any driveren.prm file by default. To use it, you must enter it in the [RDBMS] section under the (GENERAL) subsection. If you do not enter this parameter, the default value is 99.
