Hello,
In our environment we have a important job which will run everyday and it will run for a longer tme in the weekends. The Bussiness wants the Saturday job should complete before the Sunday job starts. So they adviced us to kill the job when it reaches exactly 20 hrs.
Is there anyway to Kill/Cancell the job automatically when the Background Job reaches 20hrs?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Raja.

Hello Raja
There is no option to automatically terminate the background work process. But you can release the Sunday job based on the completion of Saturday job.

Hello,
My understanding is automatically cancelling the background job is not possible. That will beat the very purpose of the background processing
