Characteristic 'Version'

Dear Experts,

I work in a system that has implemented COPA on the development server. I am implementing it on the Quality and Production servers.

The issue is, the previous implementor has added a value for the characteristic 'version' in development. I am struggling to know what that valuation is and would like to replicate the same. What Tcode should i use to either see this valuation or assign to it. When i run KEPM i am getting every value for the characteristics i want but none for the characteristic Version. It says no values. I know this is a mandatory characteristic but is there a way of resolving this issue.
