Portal changes are only visible after restart

Hello,

when we add an additional role to a user (in this case the role contains only an iview to link to the intranet) everything works fine. Then we add a new iview to that role. Normally the role changed immediately but not here. We refreshed the cache, login and out again, clean up the browser, etc but nothing helps. Finally after restarting the system we could see the change. This happens also to other changes. What do we have to do to see changes immediately?

Hi Michael,

I suppose u r using AJAX Framework page. There is a caching problem with it. When u add someting new to the role, you have to clear the portal cache (System Administration -> Naviagation -> both local and cluster) and the browser cache.

These shld solve the issue. Restart is not necessary.
