PO History-EKBE table not being updated for Transaction /event type 5

Dear All,

In PO History, Transaction /event type 5 (payment) is not getting populated even after final release of payment. There are several events like:

2-Invoice receipt

4-Down Payment

7-Consumption (suncontracting)

9-Service entry sheet

P-Invoice parking

All above events are getting populated in PO history however event 5 (Payment) is not getting populated even after final release of payment. Instead event 2 is being populated upon final release of payment. I have also checked EKBE table which is not getting value 5 here as well.

Can any one help me how and when event 5 appears in PO history.

I think its standard i am also getting the same in my all Dev, QA, and PRD clients

The EKBE table will have items related to PO history - so if you go to a PO line item and look at the PO history you will see an invoice but you will NOT see a payment. Payments are not directly related to a PO and therefore no payment information would appear in your PO history and therefore it wouldn't be on the EKBE table either

If you do down payment with reference to purchase order then it will be updated in purchase order history and

also clearing down payment against invoice also get reflected in p.o history.
