I am fresher to SAP. Where do you want to maintain the reg. ECC reg. Nos. In supplier master or in the configuration

The system catpures the Excise registration no. of our plant through SPRO settings.

Please give us more details to reply

Hi,

Create 2 Excise Registration Keys 100 - Manufacaturer and 101 - Trader. (Path: - SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Basic Settings > Maintain Excise Registrations)

Don't assign Excise Registeration to the Plant in Plant Settings for Excise. (Path: - SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Basic Settings > Maintain Plant Settings)

Create 2 Excise Groups for Plant For e.g. EM - Manufacturer and ET - Trader and here link Excise registration with Plant via Excise Group in following combination; (Path: - SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Basic Settings > Maintain Excise Groups)

100 EM Plant
101 ET Plant

Maintain two ECC numbers for your company code.

Create two excise groups. We can assign two excise groups to one plant.
