Modifying java webdynpro ESS

Dear all:

I want to modify some java webdynpro ESS, for that I have customized NWDI and created a new track, I then added in the folder :\usr\sap\trans\CMS\inbox the file SAPESS04_1.SCA, it then showed up in the "check in" tab, I press Check in and then it went to the tab "Development" with status "waiting for import".

In NWDS I selected "Development infrastructure" and then I added my development configuration in the "Component browser" area... under this development infrastructure there are many stuff, among them the component SAP_ESS, but it has nothing beneath...

I dont know what Im missing, what should I have to do or done in order to be able to modify the standar java code and put it back in the server!

Went through a lot of pages and pdf but couldnt find any that explain in detail how to proceed

Thank you a lot for any help! Im doing all this in my PC with IDES, Im not a basis person so if you can give me details on this i would be very gratefull

You have to Import the componnet under Development. It will take few hours. After that only you will be able to see the codes in NWDS.

P.S: Please do not post the same thread in multiple forums. It creates unnecessary duplicacy.
