Fixed Asset transfers for a project

Dear Experts,

We have a list of 175 profit centres which have been changed for one of our projects. We need to to transfer all the fixed assets against the corresponding cost centres to the new ones for two company codes. I have approximately 3000 assets to transfer.

Please suggest how do we perform this in SAP

Hi, if some account assignments changes(which you're using to build B/S) then you need to transfer to new one using abumn (use gross method if you need to transfer depr)

Thanks for your reply. But I need more clarification, here the assets need to have new cost centers updated in their master data.

Will ABUMN help in this case? I mean this is master data change in assets so how can we change it by transfer?

Create an LSMW recording if you are having large no of assets to process
