Moving Average Question

Hi Experts,

We use moving average to calculate the item cost. We want to know what is the calculated period for moving average in SAP? Is the moving average cost calculated by the day we implement SAP, or itu2019s calculated by different time period, for example, yearly or monthly? If so, can we chose the period that we want to calculate the average cost?

Hi Jane,

the calculation starts as soon as you have stock with an item cost & is continuous. Please have a look at these documents in the [Documentation Resource Centre|http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/documentation]:

I dont thik so that this type of any report available in SAP .

Do one thing make a query for Quantiy and total amount on the invoice document with select period (month ,year and days).

and you can check easly requiremnt.
