Is it mandatory to activate the billing element at WBS to do GR ?

Hi all,

Is it mandatory to activate the billing element at WBS to do GR for that WBS?.. If i didnot active the Billing element at WBS level, i am unable to do GR. The system shows me the error as "Goods receipt for purch. order" is not allowed".

Hello vetrivelan tamilmani,

Billing element is required for revenue from sales order. for GR IR any WBS require account assignment element check in basic data tab of any WBS under Operative indicators. Billing element is to maintain a billing plan for a WBS element
