Printing ChaRM tickets

Has anyone been able to "print" a ChaRM ticket (SDHF)? I am looking for something similar to the print options available for Incident tickets where the Ticket header data, as well as the texts can be printed out.

Any thoughts or comments on this topic are appreciated.

Hi

Yes the mail which is triggered on status change normally contains all the data as you have mentioned so any person who is getting mail can take the printout

is above option already taken into consideration.

Hi Prakhar,

What you say is true for incident messages, however, I have not been able to make it work for Change Documents. Can you please advise which smartforms you are using in your config for this requirement?

Hi Pranav,

This is all customizable and as per requirement

you can use the standard smartform and class or create a customized one if it doesn't exists.

so based upon your project requirement you can create zaction and then assign a smartform with a class with the help of developer

or you can create an action for sending mail with a BADI or method with developer

in both the above cases you can create a customized action with required smartform further schedule this action in SDCR action definition as per your requirement.

We built a custom smartform and custom program to print these tickets. Thanks for your inputs.

Challenges with the action suggestion is that when the ticket is closed, there is no easy way to execute a print action.
