Document type restricted for specific users

Hello Gurus,

I do have a requirement that the document types should be restricted for specific users.

Example:- Document type ZAB for user A, User B, User C

Document type ZPR restricted to user P, user R, user Q.

Is there a standard functionality available in SAP??? In case if it is not a standard fucntionality how can this be achieved?

Check with your basis team to create a authorization profile based on document type.In standard, they can control using object V_VBAK_AAT, where in they can add required document type. Then assign this profile to user ID in SU01.
