Redirect F1 Help?

Hi,

In SAP B1 8.8 the F1 help function launches a SBO_Help.chm file. Does anyone know if there is a way to redirect the F1 call to an external resource such as a URL?

Hi Dave Anderson,

This is possible Just Try It

Go To Help Menu / Documentation / Help Settings / Click on Shared Location & Give Path of wrong folder

Hi Srujal Patel & Dave Anderson,

It is not possible to re-direct the SB0_Help.chm file to some other file as it is hard coded in SBO itself. Even after you rename the SBO_Help.chm file, press F1 and the system will pop-up the error message saying SBO_Help.chm file is not found.

Srujal Patel@ You are just telling to change the download settings of Help file. It wont help to re-direct the help file.

Hi Dave....

It is not possible as it is initialized into the code. Infact if you say for logic My Shortcuts in SAP F1 key function is not given as it is reserved for context help.......

Hi Dave,

Welcome you post on B1 forum.

Why do you need to Redirect F1 Help? This help link is incorporated with B1 and it is hard coded.
