Consume SAP Webservices in .Net application

Hello All,

Sorry for newbie question, I am new to this SAP .net integration world; please excuse me if this question is answered elsewhere.

We are working on POC to Integrate SAP and .Net, the challenge is to develope a frontend using .net which consumes the SAP Service Registry webservices.

So far we manage to install SAP ES Explorer for Visual Studio 2008(VS) and added web services reference using Services Registry URL

After that we were able to add webservices as Web references in VS, but we are struck at this point.

We want simple customer search by name or id, which webservice we should use, what parameter we need to pass and how to handle the results?

Can you tell us how to achieve this? Any sample code will be much appreciated.

We are using .net with c# and VS2008 as IDE and accessing SAP Service Registry webservices.

Any information is much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Andrew,

Welcome to SAP Community Forum,

You can use "[CustomerERPBasicDataByIDQueryResponse_In_V2|]" service Endpoint wsdl is (HUP system):

Once you create service refrence then use class created by .Net framework to call this service. Refer to this [guide|] for further detail.
