Hi,
Do you have dialog instances as well? We had similar issue and finally it turned out to be nfs issue on dialog instance.

Hi,
Please see SAP notes #556734, #28781, #556941.
If you have common, shared transport directory, parameter
DIR_TRANS must be equal to TRANSDIR on each application server.
Have you checked the available space on the transport directory ?
Have you more than one application server running system ?
If so have you checked that each application server is pointing to
the same and correct DIR_TRANS ?
You can check this via SM51 -> double click in each server.
Check then that each server can access DIR_TRANS via AL11.
If this is not that case then it could be that an import step which
runs as a background job (like method execution above) is
started on another server as where the tp process is running.

Aidan
Hi,
All application servers must point to the same DIR_TRANS.
I gather from the information above that each system has its own
transport directory which is local. As such I am assuming each
is assigned their own transport group.
Plesae ensure that the /usr/sap/trans directory is properly mounted
for all the servers of the PRD system.
Please refer to the attached SAP Note 201199 for detailed information.
Regards,
Aidan
Thanks Adian for your guidance.
It seems that /usr/sap/trans was not mounted properly across all the all servers. As such, file could not be created. The work around is to run SM61 -> Job-ServerGruppen > Remove Server assignment for all the APP servers. Thatu2019s what I did. So the RC12 did not returned and I was able to level my transport.I will work with correcting mounting after my levelling.
I had the same issue but it was discovered after I changed the /usr/sap/trans directory on the servers, there was a soft link for the new location on the app servers which was causing this issue. Once I created the softlink to the correct location on the app servers, the problem was solved.
