Dear Gurus,
I have configured the WD UI based flexible appraisal process in the SAP Backend and it seems to be working fine when I test it via SE80 -
> PAOC_HAP_DOCUMENT_WD_UI.
Now the problem is from portal end.
I have gone through the SAP provided notes mentioned below..and the portal consultant has configured the EP accordingly.
1408243 - Configuration for object-based navigation
1416756 - OBN Configuration in Performance Management
1468466 - Performance Management Configuration Launchpad
1463821 - Performance Management Portal Configuration
1352104 - OBN action's Business Parameters don't reach AI Target
Now, when I login to ESS and then click on Appraisal Documents, an error page occurs with the following :
404 Not Found
SAP J2EE Engine/7.01
The requested resource does not exist.
Details: Go to main page of this application!
Could you please let me know what can be the problem here?
Thanks and Best Regards.
Karan.
Hi,
Please check the below,
1. If you are accessing the Appraisal document page from the career and job , check that the service is mapped to that career and job sub area.
2. Check whether OBN configuration has been done for the Page Appriasal Docuement (WD_UI).
3. Assign the below two pages under your custom ESS role.
Appraisal Document " (ID: com.sap.pct.erp.ess.hap_document) , Appraisal Dcouement (ID :com.sap.pct.erp.ess.14.documents_ee)
Thanks,

Hi Karan,
Please check what is the "URL of PCD Page" you have for the resource "EMPLOYEE_CAREER_APPRAISAL_WD_UI_14" it
should have the Appraisal document (WD_UI) PCD path.
and kindly post the ESS Business package version you are using.
Thanks,

Hi,
Have you created BSP iviews for appraisal? Make sure you have given the correct path in the BSP iviews.
The WebAS properties for the BSP system should point to the R/3 system.
Thanks

Hi,
If you are using the standard R/3 appraisal applications - as far as I know they are BSP applications(hap_document). To access them from portal, you need to create BSP iviews. I am not sure about the webdynpro iview path for accessing the appraisal applications. You may try by creating a system- whose WebAs properties point to R/3 and set up connector details as well. Create a BSP Iview which connects via this new system.
Thanks
