Hi Experts,

While doing customizing changes mentioned in Note 1568264. I stuck with a issue

Steps mentioned in NOTE 1568262:

1. Execute transaction code 'SE11'.

2. Select the 'Domain' option and enter the domain name as 'PIN_SLTYP'.

3. Select 'Change'.

4. Choose the 'Value range' tab displayed on the next screen.

5. Enter a new line item with the fixed value as:

Field Val.

Short Description

---

V	Income tax rates for very senior citizens

---

6. Save & Activate

When I am doing 6th step system creates Local Change request which is not transportable to QAS and PRD client. It is not creating Customizing request.

Please revert with your valuable suggestion on this issue.

Hi Lalit,

Try this -

Go into change mode and change the 'Short Description' of data element or domain. Try to save it now, it will ask for the workbench request. Save it under that and then again reset the Short Description to the original one. Now activate it.

This practice is just to lock the object under workbench request so that you can transport it.

Hi Lalit,

Save these changes as 'Workbench' request not as Local objects. After saving as 'Workbench' you would be able to transport the changes.
