OS Migration from AS/400 to AIX

Hello,

We are doing OS Migration of our 4.5 server from As/400 to AIX 5...

I wanted to know whether it is possible to use method UNSORTED UNLOAD on AS/400 platform...

DB size is around 1 TB, so it would help a lot if we can do it through UNSORTED UNLOAD...

Can someone kindly confirm...

this setup is not really platform dependent ... it depends on the tables ... So, RFBLG is not an option e.g.

I do have in mind, that the exclusion is not automated on 4.5B - but I'm not sure right now.

If you know, which tables need to be exported with sort, you could go for it.

My concern was whether it is not possible / compatible with AS/400...

I know there are some tables which should not be done with Unsorted Unload procedure...

Can you confirm whether it is possible on AS/400...

Sorry for not answering to your message. We are also presently running SAP on iSeries. We are planning to migrate to AIX. Can you pls share the reason for you to move to AIX. We are running on Power6 machine.
