UWL not loading

Hi All,

For one of the users the UWL iview is not loading at all. The user says that he can not see any content on the page at all. FOr all the other users it is working fine. I checked the R3 authorisations for the user and compared it with iter users' authrisations and every thing is same for bothe the users.

I cleared the uwl cahce, cleared the navigation cache thinking that the user must have "removed" it from the page by mistake. Even after that the user complains that the iview is not loading at all. User has sent me a screen print of the page and the content area is absolutely blank.

Then I changed the log level for UWL to "All" to see if there is any error for UWL specific to this user. Then I noticed the following log messages in the uwl_defaultlog.0.log file.

But i dont think that it is the root cause of the problem because i can notice same log messages for other users bbut they have no problem with using the UWL.

I relaly dont have any clue as to what is wrong with this one user.

Can any one pleasse pleas please help me on this.

Hi,

In Portal navigate to the location below:

System Administration - Support - Portal Content Directory - Personalization Cleanup - From the options select Principal and search for user who is having the issue - Click on the logon id - You will see list of all personalized objects.

Check the UWL page and remove from the list and check with the user again.

I tried that already. It didnt result in any progress

I was hoping taht clearing the personalization cache wpould resolve the problem but it didnt. After that I am totally clue less as to wha tto do/check next

Is there any thing that I am missing here.

Please check the HR master data for the user in ECC.

Also if you are using NW 7.2 then check SAP Note: 1512486

Also we are not using NW 7.2 my landscape is EP 7.0 SPS15 , ECC 6

This is a far fetched idea but can you please check.

1. In the PCD the property of the object which is one level up i,e if it's the iview which is not showing check for the page on which the iView is placed, if it's page which is not coming check for the workset etc.

2. To do this navigate through the role->workset->page, don't locate the object in PCD and check for the property as the property might be modified in the role.

3. Do you see a property with name com.sap.portal.pcd.gl.FilterAssignment ?

I navigated to the role from Content Admini --> Portal Content --> <my_custom_folder. --> Custom_ESS_Role

I went through all the properties for the role and the objected added to it but could not find any such property. Am I checking it correctly?

I was talking about the role to which you have added the UWL page. Generally it's eu_role but you might have changed it in your landscape.
