Compatibility matrix SRM and R/3

Good morning,

I want to know if the latest release of SAP SRM (I believe it's 7.1) is compatible with SAP R/3 release 4.7.

Hi Melissa,

Yes SRM 7.0 (enhp 1) is due for general release in June 2011, and is compatible with SAP R.3 4.7, but you won't be able to leverage some of the new features such as central contracts and service procurement because these rely on ECC 6.0 enhp 4 functionality.

Hi Melissa,

No you cannot use SRM 5.0 for Central Contracts and I do not believe service hierarchy procurement. These are new to the newer releases.

Yes I believe it is compatible. When I check in our &.01 test system I can see the following available selections for backend system releases:

ERP_1.0 SAP ERP 2004

ERP_2.0 SAP ERP 2005

R/3_4.6B R/3 System - Version 4.6B

R/3_4.6C R/3 System - Version 4.6C

R/3_4.70 R/3 System - Version 4.70
