Stock in transit

Hi,

In STO two step scenario, i have created Outbound delivery and goods have been issued from supplying plant with mvt 641 but Goods receipt not yet completed.

Now my question is... once goods have been issued from supplying plant...qty should appear in stock intransit at receiving plant side.. is it right?

Also it can be appeared in MMBE screen-->stock intransit area is it right?

In my SAP system... if i use MB5t tcode.. i could see the in-transit stock..but in MMBE i cannot.

Can any one explain the reason?

Thanks,

Saran.

The 'virtual' stock in transit is created for cross company transfers (between different company codes). This is not maintained in the stock table and as explained is calculated based on PO history. The intra company transfers (within the same company code) creates 'real' stock in transit.

Hi,

Check the column Stock Transfer (Plant) in MMBE.

Else go to TCode OMBG and add fields "TRAME" and "TRASF" in the Display version under 2nd option "Rules for Display Stock" and then check in MMBE. Add as following;

1	5	2	TRAME	Stock in transit
1	5	3	TRASF	Stock in trans.CC

Hey, that i know...

But it is not showing under stock-intransit, though goods issue done.

Let me know what may be the reason.

SAP differentiates between real stock in transit and virtual stock in transit.

the real stock in transit is stored in tables, like MARC, this stock can then be seen in MMBE.

The virtual stock in transit is just calculated, based on PO quantity and the goods issue quantity in its related delivery document.

This in-transit stock is only seen in MB5T, but not stored in stock tables.
