Cost Estimate in Material Master

Hello,

I have run the Cost Estimate, after that I want to change the Price in Material Master. But system shows error-

"Material 06158821 in Plant 5245 has a released Cost estimate"

Can any one please tell how can I change the price?

Hi,

if a material has a released plan cost estimate this defines the price in material master. A price change can be made with a new released plan cost estimate (in the next period). The price in material master cannot be changed manually or using MR21 (or another price changing transaction).

It is possble to delete released plan cost estimates (CKR1) but it depends on your business scenario if this can be done without getting follow-up errors. After deleting the released plan cost estimate you can change the price in material master using a price change functionality.

I vaguely remember (not fully sure) that this error can be changed to W in OBA5 or some other T code.. Please check the detailed error analysis.. Is any such option mentioned there in?

Else, what Christian said is the only option i.e. deleting from CKR1
