Cost Component View

Hi,

I have created a new Cost Component Structure and in this I have given three attributes:

1. Material Consumption

2. Activity

3. Over head

Ans assigned the proper cost element against all the above. Now when I am creating cost estimate for a material in this it is showing amount in Itemaziation under Category G (Overhead)

I want to know how the amount is populated in this category.

Please help me.

Hi Vivek

These are the categories system uses for its own purpose and denotation

Mat Costs are denoted as M (if i am not wrong)

Ovh with G and Sub Con charges with L

It has been programmed that way

My query is little bit different. I want to know how system calculates the amount for over head when we create Cost Estimate.

Hi

It depends on your costing sheet that you assigned in val variant

you need to do maintain overhead rate in KZM2 or KZS2
