Which Version of NW7.0 Trial to install on Parallels (VW machine on iMac)?

Hi Guys,

as there is no NW trial version for Mac OS system I installed Parallels (VM ware from apple) on my iMac and WinXP and Java 1.5. What would be the right NW version to run on parallels? => NW7.0 SR1 or NW7.0 Java VMware.

Does anyone have experience with parallels and NW trial version and can give some hints?

Hi Thomas,

the question is, which stack you wish to implement ABAP or Java e.g. what you want to do with your installation!

I don't know anything about paralells but have worked with different ohter VMs. The VM should give you a Win XP environment in which you can install trial versons of AS ABAP and/or the Java CE. If you want to install the ABAP stack make sure you have an installation of Java 1.4x in your VM as the instalaltion won't work with 1.5.

It was no problem to install on parallels. Mini SAP system is up and running fine.
