Can we split the goods receipt during Putaway process?

Hi Guys:

Can we split the received quantity during putaway process?

For example material A is out of stock and we have three different storage types .

1) Bin Storage --Capacity is maintained by Quantity

2) Shelf Storage--Capacity is maintained volume ( Space Available )

3) Rack Storage---Bulk storage on pallets.

Material A is out of stock , we received large quanitites of material A , so we want to split the quantites some in bin , shelf and the remaining in rack storage?

let me know step by step config /Settings i need to maintain

Hi Sweth,

this is something I saw a few years ago so I'm relying only to my memory, for a large DC which was SU & HU managed PGR by HU was implemented (the requirement was basically being able to split large quantity into smaller batches subsequently putaway to different warehouse zones, pallette and mezzanine): RF code was a Z transaction but the functionality was based on standard customizing, can't remember right now which were the settings but I guess you should be able to find out something by yourself searching for PGR by HU on internet.
