Hi experts,
1)what is the use of Due Date while doing Purchase order?
2) my second question is while copying the same purchase order to GRPO why it was not tooking due date automatically? is there anything i want to set? for auto Grn due date?
regards
anand
Hi Anand,
DueDate in PO is only a roughly estimate that your payment is due. When you do GRPO, the real due date would be more clear. That is why no automatic copy.
If you need, a FMS will be easily filled in this field.
Thanks,
Gordon

Hello Anand,
1) :- There are not any meaning of due date on the PO ,but it should not be there because PO contain only (Docuemnt Date,Posting Date and Deliver Date) we can change the description of that field(Ctrl+ Mouse two click.)
One thing more when i had checked in help file it show delivery date.
2):-
We can manage by make a FMS and set in the due date field.
Thanks
Manvendra

Hi Anand.....
Due Date in PO functions as Expencted Delivery Date of Item from the suppiler.
As it is only the tentative date hence it can not be copied as GRN date should be the actual Date of Receipt.......

Rahul
