Hello Miguel,

alternatively you can use the view V$SYSTEM_FIX_CONTROL to get some information about the "_fix_control" parameters.

http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e17110/dynviews_3096.htm#REFRN30421

Hi,

If you have read some of my replies around probably you already know my answer.

What is wrong with the SAP Notes?

I enter the first one innote search and the first hit is SAP Note 1547676

I enter the second one and I get SAP Note 176754

Of course, you have the note 830576 Parameter recommendations for Oracle 10g

in this note the parameters usually are asociated to a note:

FIXCONTROL

'4728348:OFF' (10.2.0.2 without fix 5397482 from Note 981875,

refer to Notes 964858 and 997889)

(10.2.0.4, Note 1547676

10.2.0.5, Note 1547676)

UNIX SBP 10204x_date (date <= 201103)

UNIX 10.2.0.5

WIN 10.2.0.4

WIN 10.2.0.5.nP (n <= 5)

have you even tried to do it?
