diffarence between RA00/RB00 AND HA00/HB00

HAI GURUS...

i am little bit confusing about RA00/RB00 AND HA00/HBOO.

I found these couples are using as manual conditions ...

RA00 - % discount / RB00 - fixed amount discount

where as

HA00- % discount / HB00- fixed amount discount

Really i confusing on this ,,, can any one clarify me with example ...
