Role upload in portal

Hi,

I got a BW Role with role menu in which we publish BW Queries and arrange them in folders

In Portal i am using the System Admin-->Role Upload...

the role updload is failing with the below error

"Check system configuration for alias: BWXXXX, system: null - failed to retrieve logical system idSEVERE: getObject"

When i check the role uploaded all the folder structure is imported but not the queries associated to it

Hi,

check the system object properties and also check whether you have given the correct logical system name of BW system.

Hi Maxicosi,

Please check the below document for the Logical System Name and creating system object in SAP Portal.

Logical System Name for SAP System looks like <SAP System ID>CLNT<Client Number>

Goto transaction SCC4 -- select ur Client and click on display -- here u can see logical system name
