Material Characteristic: Printable / Displayable characteristics

Hi,

Could anyone let me know how I can use the FM 'VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION' to retrieve only the printable / displayable characteristics and not all of them? Or if there is another way (other than the FM mentioned) to have this? Also, is it possible to get the Unit of Measure of the characteristic values that I wish to print?

material characteristics, you mean classification ??

if that is the case then you can use

CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS

Hey,

Thanks for the reply. Nope, this is really about Material Characteristics. You can see the same in the item level of the Purchase Order. If there is a Cross-Plant Material configuration, you can put maintain the configuration of the item. The following screen would show us the characteristics and the values.

The FM mentioned above extracts all the characteristics. I need the only the printable ones. Any ideas?
