Schedule Webi as csv output not working

All -

I have a requirement from an internal customer to provide a csv file from a webi document. If I'm in the document either via Infoview or WebIntelligence I can save as a csv; but if I schedule the document as csv the resulting output is really a wid. I've tried hardcoding csv as the extension but when you open the csv it is clearly not a csv. What is going on? Any solution?

Also, I've attempted to schedule the document via the CMC and csv is not an option.

I'm running BusObj XI 3.1 SP3

Are you sure in Cmc there is no option to schedule it as csv?

In Formats and Destinations

Under

Web Intelligence

microsoft Excel

Adobe Acrobat

there must be one that says Comma Separated Values(CSV)

then you must check it.

Isn't it showing like that?

or are yous kipping that step to

Destinations Options and Settings ?

Hi,

try with below steps.

1. Login to CMC

2. Click on Folders

3. Manage --> Top-Level Security --> All Folders

4. Select the user/group you want to assign the right and click on Assign Security.

5. Select Advanced tab and Add/Remove sub-tab below that.

6. Expand Content option on the left and select Web Intelligence.

7. Grant the u2018Save as CSVu2019 rights.

8. Click on Apply.

The Everyone group has an inherited right to save as pdf, excel and csv. In InfoView, when scheduling a WebIntelligence document, I have the option to save as a csv. But the resulting output is not csv but a wid. When I'm viewing the document or modifying the document I can save as a csv.
