Hello
Im looking for a best practise or maybe just an option to get the manager data field in CUP filled.
And this for 3 kind of users: Internal, Extrenal and Function users
All Users can be found on the CUA (but we dont have the manager data here)
The manager data for the internal user can be found in the HR system.
The extranal User can also be found in HR - but here I dont want the Manager - I need the Approver!
And for the last type the Function User - there will be none (can I somehow add a default Manager here?)
Or is it possible to use the CUA as the User Source for the User ID and then get the Manager details from a Selfmade Table?
Thank you for any help

I would probably create intiators based on employee types, so that a non internal employee can go to a different intiator that ways a manager does not have to be in the path. ( I am assuming a manager approves all requests for an internal user)
However, I am not sure how you are going to determine the approver for a non- internal emloyee's, you could have an intiator on the combination of employee type and buisness process and probably have one approver for a buisness process.
It wont be possible to get manager data from a self made table.
