price changed after partial delivery

we make trading PO, after partial delivery vendor has reduced the price, what will be the best way to change the price that wont effect for the balance of stock. We use "V" as Price Control. Can we delete PO Line & create a new line item in same Po with New price.

Let me know the best way can do.

You could

1) Create a new line item with the remaining quantity of the original item with the new price and

2) Mark the first item as "final delivery" (meaning no more delivery is possible) but do not delete it to avoid complication.

Final deliver is a indicator during confirmation , which will flag the PO item as closed.

What you have to do:

1. Change the PO Qty , mark the item as closed

2. Create a new line with the partial qty with new price.
