In XI there is an option to set the default namespace and interface for sender SOAP adapters. Where or how is this to be handled in PI 7.1

Hello,

Where or how is this to be handled in PI 7.1?

This is handled by your sender agreement whenever you post to the URL http(s)://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=p:s:c

Hope this helps,

Mark

I know, but we didn't use this before (you can set the default in XI) and don't want our customers to start using this because we are going to move to PI. So again, how do you handle this in PI?

if you want to move pi then try with a proxy and then you can change the address there after moving the pi

As Mark has already mentioned, the interface and namespace is taken from sender agreement. The same way as it is done in file and jdbc adapter.

So the answer should be that this feature is not available anymore?
