HI....Experts.....
We have one project where we need to exchange the data / transactions from IBM Websphere MQSeries (under which there are some application running.) to ECC System
We understand
Option-1
-
Using PI 7.0/ 7.1 using JMS adapter i can exchange data / transactions between my ECC System & IBM Websphere MQSeries.
Are we right ?
Option-2
-
If we do not want to use PI
We heard we have to use some MQ Series licensing at SAP End ? We did not understand what is this ?
What is that MQ licensing we require from SAP ? can any one clarity.
Option-3
-
If PI is not my option to exchange the data between IBM Websphere MQSeries and ECC ? What are other way you experts suggest.

HI,
We use option 1 a lot. ECC - PI - JMS. JMS - PI - ECC
We also use option 3 with an in-house java application for "ligth" interface, mainlly pass-through interface who are not critical.
We have an application to write/read to MQ via the IBM JMS API and the SAP JCO. We combine both in our landscape.

Hi,
Option 1 I can confirm that is we can exchange data using PI JMS adapter between ECC and MQ...
but no clues on queries of optin 2 and 3...some MQ expert should provide this info...
or search in MQ series forums...may be helpful..
