Problem with the Idoc Metadata

Hi Folks,

I am facing a very weird problem.

I have correctly configured an Outbound Idoc scenario. Whenever I test this interface, it fails in PI with the error Cannot Create Target Element .When investigated I found that the Metadata gets wrongly loaded into PI.

I have checked se30 in the R3 system and the Idoc is configured correctly. Even all the segments have been released correctly.

Each time I delete the Metadata and test the interface, it is successful.

But then when I re-test, it fails. And when I check idx2, the metadata gets uploaded wrongly.

Any solution to this problem

Hello

Check the note #1522394 XI: Incorrect version in IDoc metadata. This seems like a match to your issue. Also check note #1170918 IDoc adapter: Missing fields and deleted metadata, and ensure these fixes are imported into your system.

Hi,

Please maintain RFC Destination of type 3 in PI system pointing to ERP as follows:

RFC Destination Name: SAP<SID>

If your ERP System ID is DVR then RFC Destination name should be SAPDVR

Hi,

Can you try deleting the metadata and re-importing it manually before triggering the interface. Also, check the partner profile parameters in WE21 in ECC

did you assign the message type to the basic type and extension in we82 in the source system ?
