Unable to settle PO for Direct fixed Asset to WBS (AUC created already)

Hi Experts,

I have an scenario in which one WBS has some PO will post to Direct Fixed asset (without AUC posting), some PO will post to AUC and some PO will post to CC.

I can do the configuration for one WBS can post AUC and CC. Even if i assign a Fixed asset manually to WBS on Settlement rule, the posting to Direct Fixed asset is not success while do settlement for that WBS, As AUC is automated for that WBS, all the cost incurred posted to AUC.

Appreciate your immediate reply.

Since the costs are getting posted to AUC why don't you setlle them further to the required Fixed Asset?

Hi Gokul,

I dont have any problem to Settle AUC to Fixed asset. But the requirement is some PO of project they want to capitalize to Asset directly not via AUC. Could you please blow some light on this?

Hi,

If you realy need to settle direlctly to Fix asset try this option also

Delete invesment profile of required WBS & save so that created AUC get delete

Then try to create settlement rule FIX asset or CC & try to settle.

This might help you, please try out let us know results.

Hi SL.

It will not work. Because the requirement they want to do periodic settlement every month (month end closing) at that time, whatever the PO created under the WBS need to be settled automatically to AUC, Fixed asset and CC.

After execution of CJ88, they would like to see the WBS, cost element and amount charged to AUC, Fixed asset and CC.

Hope you can understand my requirement clearly now.
