Shipment creation with inbound delivery

Dear Gurus

I was creating shipments from VT01n using inbound deliveries. But from few days When I use VT01N with a inbound delivery number, Inside the shipment creation screen, I do not get relavant data to create the shipment.

Is there any specific reason for this, since I have used this method in past without any error.

Hi

It looks the issue is due to automatic route determination in delivery document

Check : Delivery document u201C> header > Shipment tab > Route info & receiving point field.

To fix this issue

Manually update route field info in the existing delivery document and then execute shipping transaction VT01n.

Or

Check your route determination config & Master data

Note : Automatic route determination should happen if config and master data is correct

Also check trasport group field in Material master sales view.

Dear Dilip,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I have check the route details, in both old (working corrct) and new documents are blank in that field.

But the new delivery document is relavant for picking (putaway). Is this the reason for this to not picked up in shipment. because it shows as putaway is not complete.

If this is the error, how can I resolve it?

Hi Rupesh,

This error is not due to Pick/pack

Check master data

1> vendor master transport zone

2> Transport group Material Master ( Sales / general Plant view )

3 > Check shipping condition in vendor master
