How to get Navigational Attribute long description in Query Designer

Hi,

I have a requirement where I have to get the Long Description of the Navigational Attribute of an Infoobject in the Query Designer. By Default it is picking up the Short Decription of tha Navigational Attribute.

Hi Javed,

By Default Bex Query Designer always displayes the Short text description of the infoobject or navigational attribute.

It can be changed as :

- Click on parent infoobject ->Goto Attribute Tab->Click on particular Navigation attribute ->Goto Buisness Explorer tab -> Change settings in BEx Description to " Long Text" which is by default set to" short text".

- Also better option could be to change the description directly in BEx query itself for that particular navigation attribute to whatever is required.In this case you will have to change the description separately in all the queries.
